Legal Framework for Appointment Deposit Policy

1. Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure an appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment.

 

2. Non-Refundable Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable in the event of a no-show or if the appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice.

 

3. Emergency Postponement: In cases where the appointment needs to be postponed due to an emergency, the deposit can be transferred to a new appointment scheduled within one month of the original date. Documentation or proof of the emergency may be required.

 

4. Compliance with UK Law: This policy is in accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which allows businesses to retain non-refundable deposits in cases where consumers cancel on short notice or do not show up for their appointments, provided the terms are clear and fair.

 

5. Notification and Agreement: By booking an appointment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this deposit policy. It is the client's responsibility to be aware of the policy at the time of booking.

 

6. Exceptions: Any exceptions to this policy will be at the sole discretion of the business and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
